Please refer to your policy wording and the levels of cover you have purchased first but in most cases you will be covered if you are delayed because of a serious winter storm.
You must however read the travel insurance policy wording carefully because in most cases you will only be covered if you check in at your airport or port of departure on time for the originally scheduled departure time.
Look on your policy wording for levels of cover relating to of all of the following which should provide cover for winter storm coverage:
- a) Delayed departure
- b) Journey Disruption
- c) Travel delay
- d) Holiday abandonment

We will cover adults up to the age of 84. This is based on the maximum age at the point of departure for single trip policies and the maximum age at the dateinception for an annual multi trip policy.

Is), Poland, Portugal (including Azores, Madeira Islands), Romania,
Russia (European), San Marino, Serbia/Montenegro (including Kosovo),
Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including Balearic Islands, Canary Islands),
Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom (including England,

part of our European policies as they have a Mediterranean border.

A single trip will cover you for a specified journey. It will provide some cover in the in the lead up to your departure including cancellation cover and provide you with all of the benefits whilst you are away. The policy will then expire upon your return.
An annual multi trip policy allows you to travel as often as specified on the policy wording in any one calendar year. The policy starts on a date specified by a client and then expires 1 year later and will cover any trips booked or made during this period.
