Important Statement regarding Travel Insurance and Pre-existing Medical conditions

You MUST disclose all material facts. A material fact is one that is likely to influence the Insurer in accepting your insurance. This could be the state of your health or that of a relative or person on whom your travel plans depend or any hazardous activities. If you are in any doubt as to whether a fact is 'material', you should call on 0844 249 9280. If you do not disclose material facts, it may result in your claims being invalid.

Voyager Webroker Travel Insurance Rules regarding Pre-existing medical conditions

Question 1

Within the last 12 months, have any of you suffered from, been investigated, treated for (including routine medication) or diagnosed with any cancer or malignant condition, any lung-related condition (other than stable, well controlled asthma controlled by no more than two medications including inhalers)or any heart-related condition including angina.

Please note* that the taking of regular medication at home under a repeat prescription for a condition, including high blood pressure or cholesterol, that is stable and well controlled does not amount to ‘treatment’ in this context.

Question 2

Do any of you suffer from any other medical condition that has required referral to or consultation with a specialist clinic or hospital for treatment, investigation or check up within the prior 12 months

Note * Continuing regular medication that is taken at home for a stable, well-controlled condition does not amount to “treatment” in this context and so does not need to be screened. If you have stable conditions that require no more than two routine check-ups/reviews per year each then you do not need to be screened

If you answer "No" then any conditioins you have will be covered. If you answer "Yes" then cover for that particular condition maybe declined. Please call 0844 249 9280 to confirm acceptance
